Freida to be the next BOND Babe

Indian sexy Freida Pinto has become electorate favourite as she was signed as the next Bond Hottie.

The sexy star who lead Slum dog Millionaire is rated with shortest odds of 11/10 by Paddy Power, the bookmarker.

Megan fox had odds 5/1, keira knightly 8/1, Jessica alba 10/1 were the other sexy stars rated for the movie.

The Producers of the movie have listed Freida as one of the girls fitted for the coveted part. The media has speculated Freida to grab a big role. Other babes in the Bond list are Angelina Jolie (14/1), Scarlett Johansson (14/1), Jessica Biel (16/1) and Beyonce Knowles (18/1).Freida, is strictly noncommittal.

She feels she is too young to be a bond babe. “There’s not much of a role, though some of them have become iconic. And you need somebody mature and more pretty than me.” She feels that the talk of her being a Bond girl is flattering.

The interesting thing is that Jennifer Aniston stated that she would love to do an action movie. “James Bond, glamour and Daniel Craig… it will be a lot of fun.” But on the betting meter, Aniston lags far behind Freida with odds of 20/1.

Now, Freida continues to associate with big men in Hollywood. She is all set to work with Mickey Rourke, the Oscar-nominated actor in the movie Dawn of War.

Latika is now a Greek priestess!

Indian sexy Freida pinto is going round the world. After sacking a role in The Slumdog Millionaire the actress is set to act as a Greek priestess in the War of The Gods.

The film, about the Greek mythology, will be directed by Tarsem Singh and begins production in April.

The story is about a young soldier Theseus leading his army into war with extraordinary Greek gods to finish of the bad ones and the strongest older gods of titans in order to protect mankind.

Pinto, 25, will represent Phaedra, a prophesy priestess who joins Theseus, portrayed by Henry Cavill .

Phaedra will join Theseus to avert the catastrophic warfare from exploding.

The film is produced by Gianni Nunnari of Hollywood Gang Prods, Mark Canton of Atmosphere Entertainment and Relativity topper Ryan Kavanaugh. Nunnari and Canton amalgamated on 2007’s ‘300’, which starred Gerard Butler in the front.

The original libretto of the movie was written by Harley and Vlas Parlapanides while Jason Keller has enclosure the most recent draft of the script.

Pinto bags her next film

Movie-maker Julian Schnabel, who was nominated for an Oscar for his highly praised directorial project The Diving Bell and the Butterfly, has cast Freida Pinto to star as the lead of his forthcoming film Miral.

It’s based on the book written by Rula Jebreal, who’s rumoured to be his current girlfriend.

Julian, who has also directed movies like Before Night Falls and Berlin, in fact approached Freida as soon as her introduction film Danny Boyle’s Slumdog Millionaire released in the US. Freida certainly seems to be riding high as she will also be doing a film with Woody Allen.

Julian’s movie will narrate the story of a character named Hind Husseini and account the character’s effort to set up an orphanage in Jerusalem after Palestine was partitioned in 1948 and Israel was created. Freida is currently in Jerusalem to research for her character and get acclimatised with the locales with Julian and Rula.

A source close to the film guided us about the development, “Freida was contacted by the film-maker before the Oscars happened and she was really excited. They had a couple of formal meetings and she landed the role in Julian’s movie. Freida also noticed that Rula and she look very similar but when probed it was revealed that casting her was just a coincidence and not because she looked like someone.”

The insider adds, “The film is expected to release in 2010. It is based on Rula’s book The Road of Flowers Miral which was published in 2004. Miral, interestingly, is the name of Rula’s daughter and Freida is supposed to play the lead. The book is said to be based on her real life experiences of growing up in Jerusalem.”

Since Freida is out of the country, she could not be contacted but her official spokesperson confirmed that she is indeed acting in Julian’s movie.

Freida Pinto seems to be the next Bond girl

Slumdog Millionaire hurled her to Hollywood and now actress Freida Pinto is in demand to be the next Bond girl.

Freida has been invited to a screen shot test for the next spy adventure, the reports said.

he 24 year old actress was actually first spotted by the producers during the casting for the 22nd Bond’s movie ‘Quantum of Solace’ that was released last year.

A source said that “She came to the attention of the Bond team when they were casting Quantum of Solace. But she was too young at that time to have a part as a love interest for a secret agent. But now she has bloomed into a stunning young woman and would be right to be on Daniel Craig’s arm”.

The chance of the actress to participate in the movie seems stronger because the executive producer of the film, Mr. Barbara Broccoli is eager to cast her in the movie.

If Freida is lucky enough to bag the role in this movie, the role of a Bond girl, then it would be her next international project after Woody Allen’s movie that has already been signed.
