The bomb blast in Colombo caused a major terror among the Tamil Tigers. The suicide bombers killed 15 people and injured more than 20 others, including a senior minister, outside a mosque in southern Sri Lanka.
An Improvised Explosive Device (IED) placed inside a flower vase
at the Galle main road near Wellawatte exploded at 6.55am (local
time), killing one civilian on the spot and wounded four school
children.
The bomber targeted 6 ministers and local politicians as they
walked in a procession towards a mosque in Akuressa area.
