In 2009 a research team led by Thomas W.Gillesipe and Jhon A.Agnew of UCLA used satellite-aided geographical analysis to pinpoint three Parachinar as likely hideouts of Al-Oaeda leader Osama Bin Laden.

IN March 2009, the New York Daily News reported that the hunt for Bin Laden had centered in the Chitral district of Pakistan, including the Kalam valley. ccording to the report, author Rohan Gunaratna states that captured Al Oaeda leaders have confirmed that Chitral where Bin Laden is hiding.

The upcoming G20 meeting is very critical if the world wishes to avoid economic disorder seen in 1930s, the UK government has warned.

The Cabinet minister Mr.Douglas Alexander said that the summit in London of the G20 group of rich and emerging nations next month “was an important moment”.

Alexander gave suggestion of rifts between the EU and the US and the UK on how to deal with the financial crisis.

“There was a recognition with 20 countries around the room that the financial response is going to vary from country to country” Alexander said.

He added that a failure at that summit would be  very risky for the world economy.

Now President Obama also denied suggestions of division of the US and some European countries.
